About the Program

Our five-day Inclusive Leaders Executive Institute is designed for executive, academic and corporate leaders of all levels who understand the importance of incorporating inclusive practices as a core tenet and value system in their organization. This program provides leaders who desire to serve as agents of cultural change in their organizations with the knowledge, tools, and resources to establish “cultures of belonging”—cultures that accepts, values, and views the strength in differences. You will return to your organization with the skills to unlock the best potential of all stakeholders in your organization.

Develop a Strategic Plan

You will develop a strategic inclusive leadership plan that includes a 90-day launch plan with progress indicators to actualize diversity & inclusion as a core tenet and value system in your organization.

Lead Transformative Change

Unlock innovative transformation around diversity and inclusion, and develop skills to quickly respond to demands utilizing data-driven lens and equity-minded frameworks.

Expand your Influence

Capture your vision, communicate it throughout the organization, and identify key stakeholders to support your diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Increase your personal intercultural competence in order to better manage and reduce intercultural conflict issues and crisis.

Meals & Accomodations

Does the program fee include hotel accommodations? Any Special Rates?

The program fee does not include hotel accommodations. There are several hotels within a short walking distance from the conference site. However, we have negotiated special rates for our Inclusive Leaders Intensive at a few local hotel in the Center City District (downtown) of Philadelphia.

Are meals provided?

During the program, breakfast and light snacks will provided.

Are special meals available?

We will do our best to accommodate special meal requests (vegetarian, food allergies, etc.) when notified in advance. Participants with special dietary requirements are asked to indicate all special dietary needs on the registration form.

What services are available to participants with disabilities?

The Friends Center is ADA accessible. We will do our best to accommodate the special needs of our participants including mobility, vision, hearing, other physical impairments, health conditions, or learning disabilities. Please indicate your accommodation needs on the registration form or email institute@ccbydesign.org for assistance with any special needs at least three weeks prior to arrival.

What is the typical attire during a program?

The average Philadelphia temperatures in mid-July are around 85 degrees, rarely falling below 77 degrees. Business casual clothing is recommended.

Participation Requirements

What are the participation requirements for a program?

At the end of each the Inclusion Leaders Intensive program, we award Certificates of Completion that signify you have fully participated and engaged in the program. We understand that there are, from time to time, unforeseen medical and family emergencies that might prohibit you from full participation. For these situations, if you miss 20% or less of a program, you will still receive your Certificate of Completion. If you do not fully participate in at least 80% of a program, you will not receive a Certificate of Completion.


When is payment due?

Payment is due upon registration. Your enrollment within a program is not guaranteed until payment in full is received. If you need to make other payment arrangements, such as payment by check, purchase order or via electronic funds transfer (ACH), please email institute@ccbydesign.org. Payment will be due upon receipt of that invoice.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Payments can be made via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), check, purchase order or electronic wire transfer. If you elect to be billed for the program, payment details will be provided on your invoice. Please email institute@ccbydesign.org if you prefer to be billed for the program.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that busy executives often have schedule changes and we will do our best to make it easy for you.

To cancel and receive a full refund, the registrant must submit a written request to billing@ccbydesign.org within 5 business days of initial registration. After the 5 business days of initial registration, the registration fee can be transferred to be used for any services provided by CCBD (professional development sessions, IDI assessment, virtual lounges, conferences, etc.).

What is included in the program fee?

The program fee includes tuition, all program materials, assessments, group events, and meals (breakfast and snacks). Please note: the program fee does not include hotel accommodations, meals outside of the program (lunch and dinner) or parking.
