A SIX-DAY MASTERCLASS SERIES!

MAY 18 - 23 @ 7 PM EDT

A message from our
founder & CEO

Dr. Nicole R. Robinson elaborates on the goals of this Inclusive Leaders Masterclass.

The global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) has created significant challenges for academic leaders in the education profession. Creating “cultures of belonging” (CoB) – a culture that accepts, values, and views strength in differences – centers around connecting and leveraging commonality among differences. In the midst of COVID-19, the need for CoBs becomes even more important, however, specific strategies are needed to navigate and circumvent the unique challenges created by COVID-19.

This six-day masterclass is designed for all academic leaders – public school principals, district leaders, department chairs, deans, committee chairs, faculty, etc. – who understand the importance of creating a CoB as a core tenant and value system within the institution so faculty, staff, and students can thrive in the midst of COVID-19.

Goal of the masterclass

Create a stakeholder's map so you identify, organize and deploy your team into action immediately when a crisis occurs.

SESSION 1: MAY 18 @ 7 PM EDT

The Tsunamic Shift: New Leadership
Responsibilities during COVID-19

As an inclusive leader, you probably feel you’re in a race against time. You must make difficult decisions to navigate the challenges of COVID-19, while at the same time build, maintain & protect your CoBs. However, you must “put your oxygen mask on first,” before helping others. Let’s identify what YOU need and find ways to replenish your energy & reserves.

SESSION 2: MAY 19 @ 7 PM EDT

Crisis Management:
Communicating + Connecting

Communication leads to trust, trust lead to robust CoBs. However, during a crisis communication and connection can easily fracture and lead academic communities vulnerable and on the path for destruction. A C2 plan helps communities remain strong during the crisis and a pathway to recovery from its impact.

SESSION 3: MAY 20 @ 7 PM EDT

The Power of Place

Physical surroundings communicate values. During a crisis, non-inclusive “themes and messages” naturally become amplified and pushes people away rather then bring them in. Develop a critical “eye” to quickly identity & mediate such communications to protect all faculty, staff, and students during a very vulnerable time.

SESSION 4: MAY 21 @ 7 PM EDT

Aligning Strategic Priorities
During COVID-19

It is difficult to attempt to create a strategic plan in the midst of the crisis. Having an emergency plan is essential during the time of a crisis. However, to create one in the midst of the crisis is difficult. As an inclusive leader, it is important to have a “toolkit” of resources you can employ quickly to protecting the CoB.

SESSION 5: MAY 22 @ 7 PM EDT

Designing a Post-COVID-19
Rapid Response Team

It is important to have your “first responder” team that can communicate, cooperate & innovate in the midst of a crisis.

SESSION 6: MAY 23 @ 12 PM EDT
